In the last APB meeting, the director had announced an open call for the design of new AP Logo. In response, about
12 logo designs have been received. The Secretary, Dr. Yamanaka, introduced all of them to attendees (the designer's
name was hidden). As a result of voting by hand, Mr. Tsujioka's design was selected as the original design. (He will be
presented with US$200 at the next APB meeting during ICC'99.) This selected logo will be sent to a professional
designer and might be slightly modified for improvement.
