Where is BCIT?
BCIT is located on the southeast corner of Willingdon Ave (a major N-S street) and Canada Way (a major E-W street) in Burnaby.

Parking
Paid parking is in effect 24 hours per day, every day, year round. All vehicles parked on campus must display a valid BCIT parking permit or a valid ticket purchased from dispensing machines. For more information, please see http://www.bcit.ca/~security/parking.htm
When night classes are being held, parking at BCIT may be difficult to find. If you're feeling lucky, you can try looking for (free) parking on Willingdon Ave in front of BCIT. However, it's generally very crowded so don't count on finding a spot!
If all else fails, we've found that parking can usually be found in the rear of the campus, as indicated on the BCIT campus map above. One option is to proceed along Canada Way and turn south onto Beta Ave. (one block east of Willingdon).
In the evening, you may park in any of the student or staff lots for a flat evening rate of $3.00. The staff and student lots next to Roper Ave tend to fill up quickly. Student lot D is a little further away, but almost always has space.
Please check all parking signage carefully
and,
if you park in one of the staff or student lots, please obtain a ticket
from one of the dispensing machines.

Coming from the East:
From Metrotown Station catch the 130
Kootenay Loop.
Coming from the West:
From Nanaimo Station catch the 25
Brentwood Mall (make sure it's not the 25 UBC!).
from UBC
You could simply catch the 25 Brentwood Mall, but will almost certainly find it faster to take the 99 B-line express bus to Brentwood Mall and transfer to a BCIT-bound bus (see below).

Catch an eastbound 99
B-Line express bus to Brentwood Mall and transfer to a 25
UBC or 130
Metrotown. (note: some B-Line buses only go to Broadway Station. To
get to Brentwood, the bus has to say either Brentwood or Lougheed)
* feel free to ask the driver to call out the appropriate stop once you get on the right bus !
